ACU Debunks Rumour of Postgraduate Programmes Non- Accreditation

ACU POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS ACCREDITATION
STATUS
The attention of the Ajayi Crowther University, ACU
Management has been drawn to agitations by students on
their MBA program over the omission of Ajayi Crowther
University on the list of Universities approved to run
postgraduate programs.
For the avoidance of doubt, Ajayi Crowther University,
Oyo was approved to run postgraduate
programs including PGD, MSc, and MBA in Business
Administration by a letter referenced
NUC/AS/PlO/Vol.1/32 dated 27m July, 2016 from the
office of the Executive Secretary of NUC
(Prof. Julius J. Okojie) and signed on his behalf by Dr.
GB. Kumo, Director of Academic
Standards.

The .Postgraduate School of Ajayi Crowther University
was duly approved and currently runs
accredited Postgraduate programs in the Faculties of
Humanities, Management Sciences and
Natural Sciences.
The University has pointed the attention of the NUC to
this serious omission of Ajayi Crthher
University on the list published in the NUC bulletin of Vol
12, No.6, dated 4th September, 2017.
We have received assurances from the authorities of the
Commission that this omission will be
rectified and an updated list will be published in a
subsequent bulletin.
We wish to assure our numerous students on the MBA
and other programs, that the programs
are duly accredited and they will be graduated when due.
Students are advised to ignore
rumours making the rounds on Social Media and
concentrate on their studies.
